Bishkek, Aug. 26, 2020 /Kabar/. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov held Wednesday meeting with the participation of state bodies to introduce a mechanism for the supervision of industrial enterprises and investment projects, the Government’s press service reported.
During the meeting, it was noted that this mechanism will allow creating favorable economic and organizational conditions for enterprises in the post-regime period (emergency and state of emergency), and systematize the process of monitoring the implementation of investment projects. As a result, all this will contribute to reducing unemployment and creating new jobs.
According to the mechanism, a curator represented by head of the responsible state body is appointed for each industrial enterprise and investment project, and the prime minister carries out general coordination for the implementation of projects.
During the meeting, Kubatbek Boronov said the global coronavirus pandemic which did not bypass the Kyrgyz Republic and affected the domestic economy, has also lead to the creation of this mechanism.
He noted the list of industrial enterprises and investment projects includes objects that can be implemented within a certain period of time. These are mainly medium and small enterprises.
The head of the government added the mentoring mechanism has been included in the second package of anti-crisis measures of the Kyrgyz Government.
As a result of the meeting, PM Boronov has assigned curators for each industrial enterprise and investment project, which in turn will be personally responsible for the project or enterprise assigned to them.
