Osh, June 22, 2020. /Kabar/. Yesterday, June 21 the Government of Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and Alai and Chong-Alay regions of Osh Oblast sent humanitarian aid to Kyrgyz living in Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
According to the press service of the Emergency Ministry, 100 tons of flour, 2,000 blankets and 300 and 250 boxes of cleaning agents each were sent to Lakhsh district (Jergetal) and Murghob Districts of Tajikistan. The expedition is coordinated by Deputy Head of the Crisis Management Center, Colonel Almaz Ryskeldiyev.
In addition, a total of 25 tons of flour, 1,000 blankets, 200 boxes of cleaning agents, 10 tons of rice, 2,500 litres of vegetable oil and 20 boxes of medicines were sent to ethnic Kyrgyz living in the Little Pamir and Great Pamir regions of Afghanistan.
