Tashkent, Feb. 28, 2019. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz-Iranian joint company Kyrgyz Granit intends to open a representative office and trading house in Tashkent this year, representative of the company Ali Azizi told a correspondent of the Kabar News Agency at the opening of the UzBuild international exhibition on Wednesday.
He said that last year the Iranian company Aban, together with a stone processing plant in Talas, created a joint enterprise called Kyrgyz Granit.
“We are engaged in the extraction of granite in Kaiynda field in Manas region, Talas oblast, Kyrgyz Republic. We send any kind and volume of stones, in particular, travertine, marble, onyx, granite, from Kyrgyzstan and Iran to anywhere in the world,” he noted.
Another representative of the company Cholponbek Akmatov told that at last year's exhibition agreements were reached with Uzbek partners on cooperation.
“Currently, there is a real construction boom in Uzbekistan. The ambitious Tashkent City project is being implemented. In the future, construction of similar new buildings in all cities of the country is expected. This gives us a good chance to gain a foothold in the Uzbek construction market. Our natural granite, which is particularly popular, will find its customers,” the Kyrgyz businessman said.
During the UzBuild international exhibition, a number of contracts are expected to be signed with Uzbek construction companies and business circles.
