Bishkek, Nov. 12, 2021 / Kabar /. Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev and Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kyrgyz Republic Sodniy Ganhuyag met on Nov. 11 in Bishkek.
The press service of the Health Ministry said that during the meeting, the minister congratulated the ambassador on his appointment as ambassador of Mongolia to Kyrgyzstan and wished him success in his work.
Also at the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of health care and medical technology, export-import of medicines between the two countries were discussed. The intention was announced to intensify cooperation within the framework of the agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia in the field of healthcare and pharmacy from 2019. In addition, the possibilities of organizing the treatment of patients from Mongolia and carrying out rehabilitation in boarding houses and rehabilitation centers on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake were announced.
“I think that the Kyrgyz-Mongolian relations with your visit will receive a new impetus for expanding bilateral cooperation, including in the field of healthcare. In 2019, at the level of our governments, an Agreement on cooperation in the field of health was signed, which, unfortunately, due to the coronavirus infection pandemic, did not begin to be implemented as effectively as we would like. I really hope that your visit will help determine the most priority areas of cooperation between us. I am confident that our meeting today will help clarify issues and priority areas for establishing and strengthening cooperation between us,” Beishenaliev said.
