Bishkek, March 1, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev has been on a working visit to Turkiye since February 26.
According to the ministry, as part of the visit on February 29, the Kyrgyz Minister Beishenaliev met with Minister of Health of Turkiye, Dr. Fahrettin Koca.
At the meeting with a colleague, the parties actively discussed the prospects and priorities of cooperation in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals between the two countries. Issues of staffing, training of medical specialists from Kyrgyzstan in Turkish clinics, as well as the development of the pharmaceutical industry and providing access to medicines were discussed.
Beishenaliev expressed deep gratitude to the government of Turkiye and Dr. Fahrettin Koca for the support provided to the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan.
He emphasized the importance of Turkiye’s fraternal assistance, especially in the treatment of Kyrgyzstanis, four of whom are being treated in Turkiye with positive dynamics in their condition. A large number of Kyrgyzstanis also receive high-tech medical care under treatment quotas, and medical workers are trained in liver, kidney and bone marrow transplants.
To further strengthen cooperation, Beishenaliev invited Dr. Koca to visit Kyrgyzstan to continue the dialogue and expand the areas of interaction.
In addition to this, the minister held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish state company Ushas, which specializes in medicines and medical devices.
The prospects for developing cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals were discussed, which opens up new opportunities for the exchange of experience and technologies in this important area of healthcare.
