Bishkek, May 26 / Kabar /. Minister of Health Talantbek Batyraliev met with the World Bank Global Health, Nutrition and Population Manager E. Barysh, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The meeting took place on the margins of the 70th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva.
During the talks, the sides discussed the possibilities of developing a new program of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank in the field of health, including, the investment component.
Barysh assured that the World Bank, on the basis of a corresponding official request from the Government of Kyrgyzstan, is ready to study the country's needs for medical infrastructure with the prospect of erecting modern medical facilities on the territory of the whole country that meet all the needs of the local population.
