Bishkek, Nov. 1, 2022. / Kabar /. Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Baatyrova took part in the 8th World Congress of Turkish Medicine, held on October 30-31 in Istanbul (Turkey).
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, within the framework of the congress, scientific meetings were held on creating sustainable models of cooperation in global supply chains, research in the field of healthcare (vaccines-drugs-diagnostics), digital transformation, artificial intelligence, malignant tumors, rare diseases, genome and its future, the Turkish Pharmacopoeia and the rules for its use.
As part of the event, a meeting of the Ministers of Health of the Turkish states was also held. The exchange of experience and training of medical personnel between the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, the organization of the "Joint Health Week", a joint business forum and a health fair as part of the World Congress of Turkish Medicine were discussed, the report said.
At the same time, the participants discussed the procurement of vaccines, medicines, medical supplies and material needs of the member states, the development of mechanisms for joint alternative production, the study of the possibilities of joint production and mutual recognition of domestic production, initiated by the Turkish side and supported by the member states.
