"At present, the Ministry of Health is taking measures to acquire the necessary test systems, consumables and reagents. As far as possible, we correspond with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, embassies, large suppliers to avoid interruptions of test systems supply.

Today, the more we find positive results through testing, the more we cleanse our society of sources of infection. The policy of the Ministry of Health in this direction is consistent with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). Where possible, we will try to use advanced technologies and PCR research that shows the most accurate results.Work in this direction is ongoing," Usenbayev said.

The deputy minister commented on the question when the world doubted the effectiveness of express test systems.

"We originally used them at borders. Now we're fully using PCR research for accurate diagnosis. When the epidemic passes, we will use these test systems among the population to check if there are any remaining coronavirus infected," he said.

To date, 419 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Kyrgyzstan.

67 people have recovered, death toll at 5.
