Kyrgyz Health Ministry urges citizens to observe safety measures as COVID-19 situation worsens

Bishkek, June 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . The epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan is worsening day by day, 931 new cases were recorded in the past day, Deputy Health Minister of republic Zhalalidin Rakhmatullaev told a briefing on Tuesday.

He said it's time for the population to start strictly observing sanitary and epidemiological regulations.

Rakhmatullaev urged citizens to wear masks, not to visit crowded places and to wash their hands.

"The Republican Headquarters instructed heads of local governments and state administrations to strengthen security measures and make decisions on the introduction of restrictive measures in places for holding mass events," the deputy minister added.
