Bishkek, Jan. 26, 2018 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz honey is conquerig grocery shelves of expensive Japanese shops, the Chairman of the Association of Domestic Producers, Bakyt Degenbaev reported to Kabar News Agency.

Degenbaev said that the geography of the spread of Kyrgyz honey is expanding every year in many countries of the world. It is known that Kyrgyzstan exports this product to Japan from 2015 and is sold in premium stores.

The price of Kyrgyz honey of 250 ml costs about 1 thousand soms or $15 USD in supermarkets of Japan.

"We are very pleased that our honey was loved in the country of the rising sun, and it can compete with the world's leading producers," Degenbaev said.

In addition, the Chairman of the Association of Domestic Producers stressed that honey in Japan is not used as food, but as a medicine.

He also added that Kyrgyz Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, Nurlan Musuraliyev, while being in Japan, asked the opinion of local consumers and received positive feedback.
