Bishkek, Sept. 05, 2018. /Kabar/. A long-distance – 80 km km – horse race took place at the hippodrome in Baktuu-Dolonotu village. 10 riders from 5 countries took part in the competitions.
The first was Kyrgyz rider Azamat Usen uulu with his horse called Teltoru. His horse passed the distance of 80 km in 5 hours 24 minutes 45 seconds.
The silver medal was also won by Kyrgyz rider Bakay Usen uulu with his horse called Koi-kuron. Its result is 7 hours 25 minutes 40 seconds. The bronze medal was awarded to Kyrgyz rider Janybek Duishebekov with his horse called Parvoz, who covered 80 km in 7 hours 32 minutes 37 seconds.
The endurance test is held following the rules of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).
The winner is defined by the best (the least) time of passing the distance given that the veterinary commission confirmed all the physiological parameters and successful recovery of the horse’s heart rate after crossing the finish line: within 30 minutes up to 64 beats per minute.
Requirements for the participants:
- riders are required to be registered in the data base of FEI;
- the minimum weight of the rider is required to be 75 kg, including all the equipment;
- horses are required to posses national passports (valid only for Kyrgyzstan) and FEI passports;
- applications for participating in the competitions shall be submitted through FEI Entry System by national federations;
- the minimum age of the rider shall be 14 years;
- the minimum age of the shall be 6 years.
