Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2024. / Kabar/. The Kyrgyz-Indian business forum was held on August 13, 2024 in Thrissur (Kerala, India).
The event was organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India jointly with the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO).
The business forum was attended by Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to India Askar Beshimov, representatives of the Kerala state administration, the President of IETO, heads of a number of chambers of commerce and industry of the state of Kerala, representatives of business circles, the academic sector, the university network, etc. The total number of participants was about 200 people.
Ambassador Beshimov in his speech noted the main aspects of bilateral trade, economic, investment cooperation, as well as interaction in the field of human resources, education, tourism, etc.
The forum participants noted a deep interest in expanding economic ties with Kyrgyzstan. Targeted meetings were held with the management of Ayurvedic medical centers, as well as with the chairman of the network of universities "Neru group of Institutions" P. Krishnadas. The Indian side expressed interest in opening a branch of the Neru group of Institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
An agreement was reached to organize a visit of a business delegation to Kyrgyzstan this year.
