Bishkek, Aug. 8, 2022. / Kabar /. Erlan Sherov won silver at the Asian Judo Championship, which was held from August 4 to 7 in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan).
The Department of Physical Culture and Sports said that the athlete competed in the tournament in the weight category up to 90 kg. He started from the 1/4 final stage. In the first fight he defeated an athlete from China, and in the semi-finals he defeated a Kazakh athlete.
In the final of the championship, Erlan Sherov lost to the Japanese athlete Sanshiro Murao and won silver.
One more Kyrgyz athlete Chyngyzhan Sagynaliev won the bronze.
