Kyrgyz, Kazakh health ministers sign plan of co-op

Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2024 /Kabar/. Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met with his counterpart from Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova.

The meeting of the two ministers took place in the framework of the 74th session of the European Regional Committee of the World Health Organization, the Kyrgyz Health Ministry said.

During the meeting, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev and Akmaral Alnazarova signed a plan of basic measures to develop cooperation between the Ministries of Health of both countries for 2025-2026.

The Kyrgyz minister emphasized the importance of adapting health care systems to modern challenges and noted that the cooperation enshrined in the signed Plan includes many directions and activities aimed at providing affordable and quality medical care for citizens of both countries.

The Plan provides for the development of joint research projects, including genetic research and innovative approaches in the field of health care.
