Kyrgyz, Kazakh leaders discuss joint measures to combat COVID-19 by phone

Bishkek, March 27, 2020./Kabar/.Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov had Friday a phone talk with Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, his press service reported.

"The two leaders discussed joint measures for the non-proliferation of coronavirus infection and for increasing cooperation in trade, economic and transport and transit areas," the report says.

To date, 58 cases with confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have been registered in Kyrgyzstan.

Of these, 27 in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast, 26 in Osh Oblast, 4 in Bishkek and 1 in Batken Oblast.
