Kyrgyz, Kazakh PMs discuss ban on import of Kyrgyz agricultural products to Kazakhstan

Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2019. / Kabar /. A telephone conversation took place on Saturday between Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev and Acting Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin.

During the telephone conversation, the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.

The heads of governments paid special attention to the issues related to the restriction of access of Kyrgyz agricultural products to the Kazakh market, the ways to quickly resolve this issue on the terms of mutual benefit.

In order to resolve this issue, the prime ministers agreed to hold intergovernmental negotiations in Astana.
