Bishkek, Dec.23, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Ravshanbek Sabirov met with UN Resident Coordinator in the Kyrgyz Republic Antje Grawe.
The minister expressed his deep gratitude to the UN for cooperation and assistance in the implementation of certain tasks of the agency.
In turn, Antje Grawe noted that the Labor Ministry is the key body with which more than half of all development partner agencies operating in the Kyrgyz Republic cooperate.
During the meeting, the sides discussed various ways to deepen cooperation, which should be planned for 2025. Both sides agreed to analyze the progress of work, especially on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the obligations of the Republic under the ratified Conventions. It is expected that this will allow to develop additional measures to further improve the effectiveness of cooperation.
