Bishkek, Dec.26, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev met with Vice Mayor of Keçiören Municipality of Ankara Sabiha Akdemir, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
The sides expressed satisfaction and gratitude with the joint organization of the opening ceremony of the monument to Chyngyz Aitmatov in Kechioren district park of the same name on Dec.12.
Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliyev and Sabiha Akdemir agreed to hold in 2020 various events in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
They also noted the need to publish in Turkish a short version of the Manas epic for children.
The Manas epic is the biggest epic in the history of world folklore.
The epic is the most famous literary work in the Kyrgyz language. It consists of three parts. The first part is the story of Manas hero. The second part tells about Manas’ son Semetey, about his childhood and struggle against enemies, and as a result ,the third part is a story about the life of grandson of Manas, Seitek.
