Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2024 . / Kabar / . The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has outlined the main priorities of the country's chairmanship in the Organization of Turkic States for 2024-2025. This became known today, Nov. 6 during the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Ceyhun Bayramov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, Chairman of the Council of Aksakals of the OTS Binali Yildirim, as well as heads of Turkic institutions.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that in the course of the meeting, the foreign ministers reviewed and approved draft final documents to be submitted for signing by heads of state during the 11th OTS Summit.
In addition, the parties discussed the most pressing issues on the agenda within the OTS and exchanged views on priority areas of mutual interest in trade and economic, transport, digital, climatic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Chairman of the OTS Aksakal Council Binali Yildirim shared his views on further strengthening of Turkic integration.
Heads of Turkic institutes of TurkPA, TURKSOY, Turkic Academy, Turkic Culture and Heritage Fund, Turkic Investment Fund, as well as Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry made a report on the work done for the past period.
At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to implement all the decisions taken, as well as to continue active cooperation in the key areas of the Organization.
