Kyrgyz MFA representative about newly opened Visa Center’s work

Bishkek, July 30, 2019. /Kabar/. The Visa Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was opened in Bishkek on July 24, Information Department Director, official representative of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry Ulanbek Dyikanbayev told during the briefing.

This Center will allow citizens of Kyrgyzstan and foreign countries to receive consular services in comfortable conditions, without queues and waiting time. Payment for consular services will also be made locally.

The list of services of the Center includes: visas processing, prolongation of their validity period, issuing visa support, as well as issues of legalization of documents of consular register.

“The opening of the Visa Center was another step towards optimizing and improving the provision of consular services, which significantly improves the quality of work, service, speed and time of processing applications. Modern video surveillance systems will be also installed, which should reduce corruption risks,” he said.

The representative emphasized the ministry pays much attention to the development of the country's tourism industry, attraction of tourists from foreign countries, creation of comfortable conditions for Kyrgyz citizens and foreign guests. For this purpose, the Foreign Affairs Ministry initiated the introduction of a simplified visa regime for citizens of a number of Arab states, if they have resident cards of economically developed countries of the Middle East.
