Bishkek, Feb. 2, 2022 . / Kabar / . It is planned to open an embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said Wednesday.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev met on Tuesday with UAE Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan (with residence in Tashkent) Said Matar Al Kamzi, where they discussed Kyrgyz-Emirati cooperation.
Artykbaev welcomed the intentions of the UAE government to establish an embassy in Kyrgyzstan and expressed the readiness of the Kyrgyz MFA to provide maximum assistance in this matter.
In addition, the sides discused the following issues to develop tourism and attract investment to the Kyrgyz Republic: creation of favorable legal climate and guarantees for foreign investors, development of modern tourism infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan in line with international standards and use of existing direct flights between the two countries.
From his part, Said Matar Al Kamzi expressed readiness to make every effort to develop the Kyrgyz-Emirati bilateral cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to make joint and consistent efforts to address the issues raised, as well as to maintain close and working contacts.
