Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2018 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz labor migrants who have worked for a specific period in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will be able to receive a “double” pension, experts said in Bishkek during an expert discussion on the topic “Who will pay pension to migrant workers from Kyrgyzstan?”.
It should be noted that the agreement on the provision of pensions for workers of the EAEU member states is now expected to come into force. Experts assure that this agreement will help many migrants, namely, if our compatriot works in one of the EAEU countries, he will receive pension contributions in the state in which he worked within the framework of the rules, experience and age.
“The main advantage of the agreement is the export in the form of a pension. The person worked for a certain time abroad, received experience, and after arrival in the country he will receive pension allowances. If he has work experience in Kyrgyzstan, then he will receive a local pension plus a foreign one,” said the Deputy Chairman of the Social Front of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulanbek Asanov.
Note that this system works exclusively in the framework of legal employment with the payment of legal wages and other deductions.
