Minister of Agriculture, Processing Industry and Melioration of Kyrgyzstan Nurbek Murashev at the invitation of German side took part in the work of International Global Forum on Food and Agriculture from Jan.17 to 21 in Berlin, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture in Kyrgyzstan reported.
The capital of Germany these days became the venue for the world's largest show of achievements in the field of agriculture, food production and gardening. The 80th International Exhibition-Fair Green Week 2018 is taking place here. The exhibition Green Week has begun its work in 1962.
This year the key theme of the event was livestock rising and issues related to improving the efficiency of this sector in agriculture. At the end of the working session, the heads of delegations adopted a final communiqué that reflects the joint position of the ministers on the issues that were under discussion.
Murashev also attended the opening ceremony of the largest International Agricultural Exhibition Green Week-2018 in Berlin. The Kyrgyz Minister held meetings with Minister of Agriculture of Germany Christian Schmidt, as well as with delegations of Armenia and Belarus.
About 45 ministers and more than 70 delegations from different countries took part in the International Global Forum on Food and Agriculture this year.
