Kyrgyz Minister of Emergency Situations meets Ambassadors of Germany and France

Bishkek, Oct. 25, 2018. /Kabar/. Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Mirzakhmedov and Ambassadors of Germany and France discussed joint projects implemented in the country bilaterally.

The press service of the ministry reported that the meetings took place on Tuesday, October 23, in Bishkek. During the meeting, the Minister told Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Monika Iwersen about the main activities of the Emergencies Ministry and ongoing joint projects with foreign countries, as well as international organizations in the field of disaster risk reduction.

“On the same day, another bilateral meeting of Mirzakhmedov was held with Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of France to Kyrgyzstan Michaël Roux. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues of Kyrgyz-French cooperation in the field of disaster risk reduction, in particular on the reclamation of uranium tailings managed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic,” the press service reported.
