Bishkek, April 21, 2022 / Kabar /. Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov met with Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Shentop, the press service of the ministry said.
Mustafa Shentop said that positive relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan have continued since the day Kyrgyzstan gained independence.
He noted the importance of a high-level strategic council in the development of economic relations between the two countries and expressed satisfaction with the positive development of inter-parliamentary relations, the report said.
In turn, Niyazbekov stressed that Turkey and Kyrgyzstan are fraternal peoples and congratulated on the upcoming public holiday on April 23 - the Day of National Sovereignty and Protection of Children in Turkey.
The Kyrgyz minister expressed his readiness for further development and strengthening of relations in the field of economy, culture and law and order.
