Bishkek, July 26 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz-Moldovan inter-ministerial consultations were held yesterday in Bishkek, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
The delegations of the two countries, headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Emil Kaikiyev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Lilian Dariy, discussed the state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, exchanged views on the current regional and international problems.
The sides considered the issues of strengthening cooperation in trade and economic, transport-communication, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, expansion of the existing contractual and legal framework.
The both sides expressed mutual interest in realizing the existing potential of cooperation for strengthening economic cooperation and the key role of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic, Cultural-Humanitarian Cooperation.
The sides discussed cooperation within the framework of the United Nations, other international organizations, including the Eurasian Economic Union.
At the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of holding regular consultations at various levels, considering them as an important mechanism for expanding and deepening the partnership between the two countries.
