“Now there are many citizens imprisoned for such economic crimes as corruption, embezzlement, etc. As far as I know, they are kept together with prisoners for terrorist and extremist crimes and with others who have committed serious crimes. In Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Europe, criminals for economic crimes can work on the Internet and work off the damage from prison,” the MP said.

The deputy proposed to connect the Internet for work in the cells for those convicted of economic crimes, create good conditions and introduce paid cells eras for them. "They will have the funds to pay for the cells," he added.

In turn, the first deputy chairman of the State Service for the Execution of Punishments Kemel Sadykov said that according to the current legislation, it is forbidden to use telephones and computers in colonies.
