Bishkek, Oct.18, 2024. /Kabar/. Meetings of the Control and Budget Commission and Standing Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS IPA) were held on Oct. 17 in the headquarters of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS - Tavrichesky Palace in St. Petersburg (Russia).
The meeting of the Control and Budget Commission was held under the chairmanship of deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, leader of the Ata-Zhurt Kyrgyzstan parliamentary faction Baktybek Sydykov, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported.
During the meeting, 13 issues on the agenda were considered, members of the Commission exchanged information on the adoption in member states of laws on the state budget for the next planning period, prepared draft decisions of the IPA CIS Council related to the financial aspects of the activities, as well as discussed issues of financial support of the IPA CIS work plan for 2025.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastan Bekeshev participated in the meeting of the Standing Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology of the IPA CIS.
The meeting adopted 15 resolutions, including a draft model concept of environmental education for CIS countries, draft model laws “On protection of atmospheric air”, “On environmental monitoring” and others.
The participants of the Commission approved and decided to ask the Council of the Assembly to submit to the plenary session of the IPA CIS the draft model law “On winegrowing and winemaking”.
