Kyrgyz MPs to convene meeting on Wednesday

Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2020. /Kabar/. Tomorrow, Oct. 7 deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh will convene meeting in the Parliament Building, MP from the Respublika-Ata Zhurt faction Umbetaly Kydyraliyev told journalists.

The journalists asked about the demands to dismiss president of the country, to which the MP replied that this issue would be legally considered on Wednesday.

The Parliament Building, where the Jogorku Kenesh is located, is now occupied by protestants. They are still there.

The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan declared invalid the voting results in the parliamentary elections, which took place on Oct. 4, 2020, the press service of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

In total, 16 political parties took part in the elections. According to data of the CEC, 4 parties were leading. The losing parties organized protest actions demanding to annul the results of elections.
