Kyrgyz musical "Song of the Tree" became most sensational at Moscow Film Festival

Bishkek, Apr. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. The first international premiere of the Kyrgyz musical "The Song of the Tree" was held at the Moscow Film Festival in Russia.

According to the website of Kyrgyz cinema, the 40th International Film Festival has started in Moscow on April 19 and will last up to 26.

The musical "Song of the Tree" was shown on April 21 in the "Spectrum" program, which is the main one among all the out-of-competition Moscow Film Festival programs.

Among the spectators were accredited participants of the film festival, international critics, directors, producers, writers and journalists.

Program director Kiril Razlogov personally presented the Kyrgyz film.

"Song of the Tree" is the most sensational film of the current film festival. What is the sensationalism of this picture? In an unexpected genre mix. This is not just a Kyrgyz picture taken with Russian participation. It is such an experimental film, which unites many different genres: blockbuster, drama, musical and author's cinema," Razlogov explained.
