Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2024. /Kabar/.The Kyrgyz national track and field athletics team completed its participation in the Asian Indoor Championships in sixth place, the national federation for this sport reported.
The championship took place in the capital of Iran, Tehran. The Kyrgyzstanis showed a historic result, winning two gold, one silver and one bronze awards.
Nursultan Keneshbekov took first place in both distances with results of 8:08.85 - 3000 meters and 3:49.10 - 1500 meters.
Ainuska Kalil kyzy won silver (1500 m) and bronze (3000 m) at the Asian Championship.
