Kyrgyz National Bank carried out two interventions since beginning of 2021

Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2021. / Kabar /. In 2021, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan carried out two interventions to maintain the exchange rate of som (KGS, national currency).

According to the website of the Bank, $9 million 650 thousand with the settlement on the date of the transaction were sold on Jan. 28, and $36 million 50 thousand with the settlement on a date different from the transaction date.

In addition, $8 million 100 thousand, calculated on the date of the deal were sold on Feb. 4, and $29 million 900 thousand calculated on a date different from the date of the transaction.
