Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2023 . / Kabar / . On Oc. 16, China's Beijing hosted the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB).
The signing took place on the eve of the summit on international cooperation within the One Belt - One Road initiative.
The press service of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reported that the memorandum provides for cooperation between the Bank and CCB in the banking sector, which will have a positive impact on the development of the financial markets of Kyrgyzstan and China.
Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Zair Chokoev and Executive Vice President of China Construction Bank Corporation Jihon took part in the memorandum signing ceremony.
China Construction Bank Corporation is one of the four largest state-owned commercial banks of the People's Republic of China and ranks 2nd in terms of assets among the world's largest financial institutions.
CCB's assets total more than 4.7 trillion dollars.
