Bishkek, Mar. 7, 2019. /Kabar/. The national beach football team of Kyrgyzstan held the first match within the framework of the Asian Championship 2019 in Pattaya (Thailand), the Football Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The domestic team held its first match against the team of the United Arab Emirates. The first round match took place at 18:00 Bishkek time.
“We had good training: two stages of training camps in Kyrgyzstan,” coach Muktarbek Orozbakov told. “We paid a lot of attention to the physical condition of the players and tactical training. We managed to adapt a bit to the climatic conditions. All games will be hard for us. Starting is always hard. But we will make every effort and try to perform at the proper level."
On Saturday, the team will meet players from Lebanon, on Monday they will play against the Chinese team.
Kyrgyzstan is a debutant at the championship and is competing in the group B.
