Kyrgyz national hockey team becomes second at Challenge Cup of Asia, losing to tournament hosts

Bishkek, Dec. 10, 2018. /Kabar/. The youth hockey team of Kyrgyzstan became the silver medalist of the Challenge Cup of Asia (U-20).

The tournament was held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) on December 5-8, in which four teams participated: Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines.

In the finals, in the fight for "gold" hockey players from the Kyrgyz Republic played against representatives of Malaysia. The victory was won by the latter, they won with the score of 4:2.

Earlier, the team from the Kyrgyz Republic defeated Filipinos - 13:2, as well as sportsmen from the United Arab Emirates - 12:3.
