Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2018. /Kabar/. The National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic holds a two-day seminar in the city of Jalal-Abad on the implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics.
The seminar is held on the topic: “Strengthening the Capacity of the National Statistical System Based on the Results of the Implementation of the Components of the World Bank’s the Implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics Project under Component 4 ‘Strengthening the Statistical Intellectual Capacity’, the institution’s press service reported.
The seminar is attended by the leadership of the National Statistical Committee, international experts, senior officials of the central office, managers and specialists of the territorial state statistical bodies.
In his welcoming remark, Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Akylbek Sultanov noted the importance of strengthening the capacity of the statistical system in implementing the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics. He outlined the tasks for the upcoming period, called on regional statisticians to carefully prepare for the upcoming 2019 census of the population and housing of the Kyrgyz Republic and wished all the participants success in the seminar.
During the seminar, issues of strengthening the statistical intellectual capacity, the introduction of a unified information system for personnel management will be considered, practical work on human resource management will also be provided.
