Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2019. / Kabar /. The Rosselkhoznadzor did not allow more than 52 tons of potentially unsafe products from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to be imported into Novosibirsk region, the press service of the department reported.
During the quarantine phytosanitary control and inspection of goods, it was found that four batches of Kyrgyz nuts, dried fruits, dried beans and peas, as well as wheat and corn grains with a total weight of 1.21 tons were transported without a phytosanitary certificate confirming product safety. With a similar violation, 12.7 tons of Kazakhstan dried fruits were to be imported.
According to the requirements of quarantine legislation, the importation of all products of high phytosanitary risk into the territory of Russia was prohibited. All the products were returned to senders in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, and the guilty persons were brought to administrative responsibility.
