Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2020 / Kabar /. As part of the participation in the Ministerial Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov held a meeting in Moscow with Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mohammad Qureshi.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that, the two ministers discussed issues of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan through exchange of visits at various levels.
The sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen trade and economic ties, advance the implementation of the CASA-1000 project, resume transit and transport links and cultural and humanitarian relations.
They also discussed issues of multilateral cooperation and interaction in the return of citizens of the two countries who are unable to return to their homeland due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
