Kyrgyz Parliament approves presidential decree on extending state of emergency in some parts of republic

Bishkek, Apr. 30, 2020. /Kabar/. At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament), MPs approved the Presidential Decree of Apr. 28, 2020 "On Amendments to Certain Decisions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic". The corresponding decree of the Parliament has been adopted.

As Representative of the President in the Parliament Kurmanbek Dyikanbayev noted, the Decree prolongs the state of emergency in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Dzalal-Abad and At-Bashy region of Naryn Oblast until May 10, 2020 inclusive.

On Apr. 28, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed a decree "On Amendments to Certain Decisions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
