Kyrgyz Parliament proposes to classify information on population’s tax returns

Bishkek, Jan.22, 2020. /Kabar/. Information about tax declarations of the population should be classified, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) Dastanbek Dzhumabekov said the Parliament’s session.

He noted such measures are necessary to protect citizens from raider seizures, etc.

"People may be afraid that information about their business will fall into the wrong hands. The data should not be publicly available, but it should be available for relevant authorities if necessary,” the speaker added.

Dastanbek Dzhumabekov also urged the tax authorities not to relegate the submission of declarations of the entire population. The campaign should begin in 2022, he said.

"And outreach should begin now," Dzhumabekov said.
