Bishkek, June 25, 2020. /Kabar/. At today’s session of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament), MPs considered a draft law "On ratification of the Protocol on Introducing Amending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) of May 29, 2014, as well as on the Amending and Terminating Certain International Treaties, signed on Oct. 1, 2019 in Yerevan," initiated by the Government.
As speaker, member of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security Zakir Sharapov noted, the period of application of norms for the distribution of import customs duties between the budgets of five EAEU member states expired on Dec. 31, 2019. In this regard, it is proposed to ratify the new Protocol.
In accordance with it, new norms for the distribution of the amounts of import customs duties from Jan. 1, 2020 without limitation of the validity period in the amount were approved:
Armenia - 1,220%
Belarus - 4.860%
Kazakhstan - 6.955%
Kyrgyzstan - 1,900%
Russia is 85.065%.
The distribution norms of Kyrgyzstan and Armenia remained unchanged. The distribution share of Belarus increased by 0.3%, the share of Kazakhstan decreased by 0.1%, the share of Russia decreased by 0.2%.
The bill is submitted for voting in three readings.
