Bishkek, May 17, 2024. /Kabar/. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiev, as part of his official visit to Austria, met with citizens of Kyrgyzstan working and studying in this country, as well as in the neighboring Czech Republic and Slovakia.
At the meeting, the speaker provided brief information about the purpose of his official visit and the negotiations held within its framework, adding that one of his main goals was meetings with compatriots.
“It is gratifying that many of our compatriots were educated at leading universities in European countries, including Austria, and are now successfully working in large companies. But Kyrgyzstan is always waiting for you. I am confident that you will use the knowledge and experience gained here for the development of our country and will contribute to the implementation of major reforms,” he said.
Along with this, the speaker spoke about the work being carried out in Kyrgyzstan and the reforms being implemented. “Our main goal is to improve the social situation of the population, boost the economy and build a prosperous state. And also to return our citizens working abroad to their homeland, creating jobs throughout the republic,” he added.
The meeting continued in the format of questions and answers; aspects of teaching the Kyrgyz language to children of compatriots living abroad were touched upon.
