Kyrgyz parliamentarians go into recess for summer

Bishkek, June 30, 2020/ Kabar /. Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov today at an extraordinary meeting of the parliament announced the closure of the 7th session of the 6th convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh.

The speaker thanked his colleagues for the adoption of important bills that put the development of the state and the interests of the peoples above all else.

“During the session 136 laws and 614 decrees were adopted, annual reports of the prime minister, the prosecutor general, the National Bank and the Accounts Chamber were heard. Also, more than 15 thousand appeals of citizens were considered, more than 29 thousand meetings were held with voters. In general, the work of the session was aimed at the development of the socio-economic sector and the judicial system. The parliament also provided legislative support in the field of regional development and digitalization,” said Dzhumabekov.
