Bishkek, May 28, 2018. / Kabar /. A joint delegation of all factions of the Jogorku Kenesh headed by leader of the SDPK faction Isa Omurkulov took part in the Forum of Political Parties of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Shenzhen (China) on May 26-27. The theme of the Forum was "The Shanghai Spirit and the Community of the Unified Destiny of Mankind: the Contribution of the SCO Political Parties", the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament.
Within the framework of this forum, the bilateral relations of the SCO member states, the development of cooperation within the SCO framework, as well as issues of international relations and world politics, which are of mutual interest to the parties, were discussed. During the forum, the participants stressed the need for further cooperation based on the "Shanghai spirit", which means "mutual trust", "mutual benefit", "equality", "mutual consultations", "respect for the diversity of cultures", "the desire for joint development", as during the existence of the SCO, mutual trust between countries has been developed.
The parties agreed and supported the idea of institutionalizing the Forum of Political Parties of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and to hold this event on an ongoing basis, taking into account the chairmanship of each country in the SCO. The parties also touched upon the implementation of the concept of the Chinese leadership One Belt, One Road, which will allow the countries of Eurasia to improve their infrastructure and give additional impetus to the development of their economies.
The forum was attended by parliamentary and party delegations from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, India, Pakistan, as well as observers and partners in the SCO dialogue from Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Nepal and others.
The organizer of the Forum is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
