Bishkek, Nov. 29, 2018. /Kabar/. A delegation of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) headed by Deputy Speaker Asel Koduranova arrived in the city of St. Petersburg (Russian Federation) to attend the 48th Plenary Session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS IPA).
The press service of the Jogorku Kenesh reported that within the session, meetings of the CIS IPA Permanent Commissions on legal issues, on political issues and international cooperation will take place; on defense and security issues, as well as the Joint Commission for Harmonization of National Laws Related to Security, Countering Emerging Threats and Challenges. In addition, the deputies will take part in the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.
The delegation includes deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurbek Alimbekov, Ainura Altybayeva, Talant Mamytov, Maksat Sabirov.
