Bishkek, Jan.27, 2020. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz Republic has taken all necessary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Prime Minister of the country Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev stressed on Monday at the meeting of the Government.
Opening the meeting, PM Abylgaziev spoke about the measures taken in connection with the complex epidemiological situation in the People's Republic of China, caused by an outbreak of coronavirus infection.
Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev noted the Government and the Health Ministry of the country immediately adopted a set of measures: an operational headquarters has been formed, sanitary and quarantine control has been strengthened at all checkpoints on the state border, thermal imaging cameras have been installed at Manas and Osh airports to check on arriving passengers. Air, road and rail links with China have been completely suspended since Jan.23, 2020.
The head of the Government stressed special attention had been paid to tightening control over agricultural products imported into the country.
