Kyrgyz PM assures that work on digitalization will be continued in full

Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2020 / Kabar /. Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov at a briefing on Tuesday assured that digitalization work will be continued in full.

“Despite the pandemic, until the end of 2020, the government will continue to implement the Sanarip Aimak automated information system. As part of this, to connect rural areas to the interdepartmental electronic system "Tunduk", for the first time in local self-government bodies, electronic databases based on economic books have been created. To launch the system "Sanarip aimak", "e-Kyzmat", "Infodocs" through the Bishkek office of the OSCE, work is underway on technical support," said Kubatbek Boronov.

He said that one of the directions provided for in this plan is the transition to distance learning in education.

“At present, the issue of providing school teachers with technical means in relation to distance learning is being resolved. Thanks to the preliminary monitoring carried out in each region, it was revealed that there were no TVs in 4 782 families, and 65 616 students had no smartphones. Donors provide assistance to students in providing technical means. Mobile operators provide free internet connection,” he said.
