Bishkek, Apr. 24, 2020. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev took part in an extraordinary session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held via videoconference, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported.
During the meeting, heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) discussed a draft document defining strategic directions for the development of the Eurasian economic integration until 2025.
The document itself consists of common (conceptual) provisions and a list of measures and mechanisms (330 positions), grouped into 11 system blocks on the directions of the integration association.
The list of measures and mechanisms is an action plan - Roadmap for further development of integration of the EAEU member states, implementation of which provides for the development and signing of 13 international treaties, more than 60 regulatory legal acts of the Union, introduction of about 25 amendments and additions to the Treaty on the Union and, accordingly, national legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union member states.
The measures and mechanisms of the Strategic Directions complement and develop the measures already being implemented in accordance with the approved EAEU basic documents.
Following the results of the meeting, it was also decided to reconsider the issue of pricing for gas transportation prior to the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which will be held on May 19, 2020.
The regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in the second decade of July 2020 in Minsk (Belarus).
