Bishkek, Aug. 3, 2020 /Kabar/. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov discussed with representatives of the delegation of Russian medical specialists antiepidemiological measures and recommendations to improve the situation on coronavirus in the country, the Government’s press service reported.
During the meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, Boronov expressed deep gratitude to medical professionals for providing assistance and support to the republic.
Deputy Health Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan Yevgeny Kustov and Deputy Director of the Institute of Virology of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) Natalia Pshenichnaya spoke about the experience used and recommendations of health authorities of the Russian Federation in the diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus infection and its consequences.
Among the recommendations of Russian specialists are the need to provide the Semetei observation center with laboratory and diagnostic services, to strengthen the staff of laboratories and the creation of reserve groups, to strengthen control over epidemiological safety requirements, to increase the number of computer tomography equipment in the regions through public-private partnerships, seminars on the safe use of personal protective equipment by health workers.
PM Boronov thanked the Russian medics for the practical assistance and recommendations provided.
“On behalf of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and on my own behalf, I express great gratitude to the medical specialists who have arrived in our country and provide us with practical assistance and recommendations on treatment of patients. We wish you success in your responsible work and good health," said Boronov, emphasizing the importance of supporting Issyk-Kul and Dzhalal-Abad Oblasts, where the epidemiological situation is difficult today.
The head of the government gave a number of instructions to relevant state bodies, including on the development of new criteria for the safe operation of daytime inpatient centers.
