Kyrgyz PM meets with head of Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development

Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev met with Executive Director of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development Andrei Shirokov.

During the meeting, the issues of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development in various fields, as well as prospects for further cooperation in the implementation of important projects for the country, were discussed, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.

Andrei Shirokov told the Kyrgyz prime minister about the projects being implemented by the Foundation in the field of infrastructure, agriculture and energy, as well as future work plans in the republic for the implementation of priority projects in various fields, including irrigation, water supply and education.

The prime minister thanked the Eurasian Fund for support in the implementation of socially significant projects and noted that the Government is in favor of more active promotion of grant projects of social importance, preparation of investment projects that are important for the development of the country.

Abylgaziev and Shirokov stressed the need to jointly develop a cooperation strategy, which will identify the main work priorities to increase the effectiveness of cooperation. First of all, the strategy should include projects to develop the regions, provide the population with clean drinking water, and digitize.

Prime minister Abylgaziev expressed confidence in the further fruitful cooperation of the republic with such an important partner as the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development.
